Skubal 6+/Tigers Money line (-140)
One of the best pitchers in baseball and a strikeout machine. Not to mention, he is taking on one of the worst offenses in baseball. The Rangers struggle to score runs and in fact do still strikeout. This will be a very fun matchup for Skubal.
Skubal averages 10.62 K/9 and has a 2.21 ERA. He helps spearhead a lethal Tigers rotation and their offense is playing some very good baseball. They just convincingly beat the Rockies, especially in the double header finale. Good luck Rangers.
Hunter Brown 6+/Astros ML (+100)
Brown is off to a very strong start. His 1.67 ERA is the fourth best in the league among qualified starters. In 43 innings of work, he has 49 strikeouts, so that’s great to see. He is 90th percentile in terms of strikeout percentage, so you know what you’re getting with him out there and it’s immaculate.
The Reds are a very good team, but beatable. Luckily, the Astros face Martinez, who has been good but beatable. The reds have the seventh most strikeouts in baseball, so the recipe to success is here.
Padres ML (-166)
One sentence. They are playing the Rockies. Take the easy money.
