WWE Smackdown: Tiffany Stratton Has a New Batch of Challengers

Tiffany Stratton can always say that she beat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.

She has no time to rest, as several other challengers want her WWE women’s championship.

Nia Jax, her former partner, said on last night’s Smackdown that she wanted to regain the title that Tiffy won by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Naomi and Jade Cargill came to the ring to stake their claim to the title, leading to Smackdown’s main event tag team match.

Cargill delivered a powerbomb to the huge Jax to score the pin. Next week, Cargill and Jax will battle for a shot at Stratton’s title.

US TITLE CHALLENGERS

Jacob Fatu’s US championship has no shortage of challengers as well. Damien Priest and LA Knight battled each other for a title shot.

Solo Sikoa interfered and caused a no-contest. Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis booked Fatu to defend against Priest and Knight at Backlash on May 10.

Sikoa reminded Aldis that Drew McIntyre was the No. 1 contender, so Aldis added him to the match, too. Oops!

NEW SMACKDOWN TALENT

Nathan Frazier & Axiom scored another impressive victory, defeating Pretty Deadly with a Phoenix splash from Frazier.

Rey Fenix also stepped forward as a new Smackdown talent, defeating Santos Escobar.

You can add Aleister Black to the list as well. He made a successful return to the WWE ring, pinning The Miz after a Black Mass kick.

Zelina Vega, the women’s US champion, defeated the much larger Piper Niven in a non-title match.
