Adam Pearce had a rough time as the General Manager of WWE Raw last night in Quebec City.

Smackdown guys were invading, wrestlers were complaining … he was like Kermit the Frog trying to keep The Muppet Show from going off the rails.

Finally, Pearce decided to make Seth Rollins defend the World title in a four-way match at Clash in Paris on Aug. 31.

The show started with CM Punk, who was quickly joined by LA Knight. They both wanted a shot at Rollins’ title.

Instead, they teamed up in the main event against Rollins’ henchmen, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Rollins interfered in the match, causing his allies to get disqualified. Jey Uso came to the ring to even the odds.

That’s when Pearce decided to put Punk, Knight, and Uso in the World title match against Rollins in Paris.

Rollins and his goons beat up the heroes to end the show.

BAD DAY FOR IYO SKY

Iyo Sky was supposed to challenge Naomi for the women’s World title, but Naomi couldn’t compete due to an injury.

Sky got a match against Roxanne Perez instead. The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) offered to watch her back. Sky said no thanks.

After Raquel Rodriguez interfered on behalf of Perez, the Warriors came out anyway. Sky bumped into them and got pinned. She argued with the Warriors after the match.

TRIPLEMANIA PREVIEW

Dominik Mysterio teamed up with El (Extra) Grande Americano to beat AJ Styles & Dragon Lee. Dirty Dom used a loaded headbutt on AJ to set up the pin.

This Saturday, El Hijo del Vikingo will defend the AAA Mega title against Dragon Lee, Americano, and Dirty Dom in a four-way at TripleMania on YouTube.

OTHER BOUTS

Sami Zayn tried to beat Rusev to prove to Pearce that he was ready for a shot at the World title.

Instead, Solo Sikoa and his My Family Tree group came from Smackdown to attack Zayn and cause a DQ. Sikoa was angry that Zayn had beaten him on Smackdown.

Becky Lynch retained the women’s Intercontinental title with a win over Maxxine Dupri.

Next week on Raw, Penta will take on Xavier Woods, who is seeking revenge for Penta destroying his giant, $12,000 hat.
