WWE Raw: Three Opponents Line Up for World Champion Jey Uso
Jey Uso reached the pinnacle of his career when he upset Gunther for the World title at WrestleMania 41.
Now he’s learning what life is like on top, as three opponents are waiting in line to face him.
Bron Breakker will be up first on next week’s Monday Night Raw. He attacked the champion backstage on last night’s program, and their bout will be a non-title match.
Logan Paul will get a title shot against Uso on the May 24 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Last night, Gunther announced that he would face the winner of the Uso-Paul match for the World title on the June 9 edition of Raw in Phoenix.
IDENTITY CRISIS
Penta defeated Chad Gable in the opening match with the Canadian Destroyer.
The victory gained Penta some revenge for his failure to win the Intercontinental title at Backlash, if you assume that Gable and El Grande Americano are the same person.
CM Punk is having trust issues after Paul Heyman backstabbed him at WrestleMania 41. He formed a tenuous alliance with Sami Zayn last night.
They will face Heyman’s team of Breakker and Seth Rollins on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Creed Brothers defeated The War Raiders after interference by The New Day.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce ruled that The New Day must defend the World tag team title against the Creeds and the Raiders.
HOW MANY BULLETS?
AJ Styles defeated Finn Balor with the Phenomenal Forearm in a battle of former leaders of New Japan Pro Wresting’s Bullet Club.
The Judgment Day tried to help Balor, but Penta came to the rescue.
In the main event, World women’s champion Iyo Sky & Rhea Ripley defeated Roxanne Perez and Giulia. Ripley pinned Giulia after hitting the Riptide slam.
Next week, Raw will include Money in the Bank qualifying matches.
