Roman Reigns, the Original Tribal Chief, returned last night on WWE Raw from Birmingham, Ala.

CM Punk had just won the gauntlet match to earn a title shot against World champion Gunther at SummerSlam.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were battling Punk and Jey Uso when Reigns came out to clean house.

Punk and Reigns have issues with Seth Rollins, who is in Paul Heyman’s faction with Breakker and Reed.

Rollins suffered a knee injury on Saturday Night’s Main Event, but he still holds the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Breakker was the star of the gauntlet match. He used the spear to beat Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso.

Punk defeated Breakker with the Go To Sleep to win the title shot against Gunther.

NAOMI’S CHALLENGERS

Naomi opened the show with the World women’s title. She cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution 2 during the match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.

They both interrupted her celebration. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made a Triple Threat match for Naomi’s title at SummerSlam.

LADIES’ NIGHT

After a successful Evolution show on Monday, the WWE women competed in the first three matches on Raw.

WWE women’s tag team champions Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez defeated The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) in a non-title match. Dominik Mysterio helped his Judgment Day teammates score the victory.

Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley two falls to one to earn at SummerSlam title shot against women’s Intercontinental champion Becky Lynch.

Bayley won the first fall with a quick rollup, but Lyra evened the score before finishing Bayley with the Nightwing slam.

Nikki Bella wrestled on Raw for the first time in almost seven years. She beat Chelsea Green with her Rack Attack 2.0 finisher.

John Cena and Cody Rhodes will appear on Friday’s Smackdown to hype their Summerslam main event for Cena’s WWE championship.
