WWE Raw: Liv Morgan Returns from Hollywood
Liv Morgan came back to WWE Monday Night Raw last night after shooting a movie in Japan.
She reconnected with her Judgment Day teammates, but she discovered an extra person in the group.
Roxanne Perez was offering Dominik Mysterio a large platter of chicken nuggets for the second week in a row. Remember that Liv stole Dirty Dom away from Rhea Ripley.
Liv walked on with Raquel Rodriguez, and they ran into Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane. That could be a future match for Judgment Day’s WWE women’s tag team title.
Sane challenged Morgan to a singles match. Perez appeared at ringside and helped Morgan by pushing Sane off the top rope. But Rodriguez had the referee distracted, and Sane went on to win the match.
MONEY IN THE BANK
Seth Rollins opened the show with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed by his side. He vowed to win the Money in the Bank ladder match and become a World champion again.
In the main event, Rollins qualified for MITB with a victory over Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. Dominik Mysterio tried to help Finn with a chair, but it backfired as Rollins curbstomped Balor onto the chair.
CM Punk attacked Rollins at the end of the show, seeking revenge for getting steamrollered by Reed on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Penta also qualified for Money in the Bank, defeating Chad Gable and Dragon Lee after El Hijo del Vikingo attacked Gable.
CART BEFORE HORSE
WWE signed a Gable vs. Vikingo match for Worlds Collide on June 7. Curiously, it was billed for the AAA Mega Championship.
That belt currently belongs to former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio, who will defend against Vikingo this weekend. Maybe somebody can see into the future?
OTHER ACTION
The New Day retained the WWE tag team belts by defeating The War Raiders and The Creed Brothers in another Triple Threat match. Xavier Woods pulled the trunks to pin Julius Creed.
Rusev defeated Akira Tozawa by submission to the Accolade. Sheamus appeared after the match, as he could be Rusev’s next opponent.
OTHER TALKING
Jey Uso and Gunther talked about their World title match in Phoenix in two weeks.
Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch talked about their rematch coming up at Money in the Bank. It will be Becky’s last chance to face Lyra for the women’s Intercontinental title.
