WWE Raw: Jey Uso Runs the Gauntlet of World Title Challengers

Jey Uso is preparing for a huge World title match against Logan Paul on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Bron Breakker was a roadblock in his way last night in the main event of Monday Night Raw.

Paul opened the show by talking about winning the title this weekend. Gunther interrupted, stating that he wanted to recapture the World title that he lost to Uso at WrestleMania.

Gunther will face the winner of the Uso-Paul match next month in Phoenix.

Uso ended the segment by superkicking Paul and telling his challengers that he will see them later.

If that weren’t enough challengers, Paul Heyman revealed that he had a master plan to ensure that Seth Rollins eventually wins the World title.

In the main event, Uso faced Breakker in a non-title match. Rollins interfered to cause a disqualification.

Sami Zayn and CM Punk raced to the ring to fight Rollins and Breakker, previewing their tag team match on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

MONEY IN THE BANK

Roxanne Perez had a great night. She qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Natalya and Becky Lynch.

Lyra Valkyria broke up Becky’s pin, leading to Perez pinning Natalya after the Pop Rox (high-speed sunset flip).

Later in the show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce welcomed Perez as an official member of the roster. Finn Balor also introduced Perez to his Judgment Day teammates.

Rhea Ripley defeated Kairi Sane in the other Money in the Bank qualifier after hitting a Riptide slam.

This bout started as a triple threat, but Zoey Stark left after suffering a serious knee injury.

OTHER BOUTS

The Judgment Day team of Finn Balor & JD McDonagh upset the dream team of AJ Styles & Penta. El Grande Americano cost Penta the match again with a loaded headbutt.

Sheamus defeated Grayson Waller, and Austin Theory laughed about it. So the “A-Town Down Under” team could be breaking up soon.

Next week on Raw, The New Day will defend the World tag team title against The Creed Brothers and The War Raiders.
