WWE Night of Champions is set for this Saturday afternoon in Saudi Arabia, but things are up in the air in the world right now.

Last night on Raw, WWE didn’t mention the location of the show at first before later saying that it would still take place in Riyadh despite the conflict between Iran and Israel.

Cody Rhodes will try to become King of the Ring no matter where the show takes place. Rhodes defeated Jey Uso with the Cross Rhodes in last night’s main event.

Rhodes will face Randy Orton in the King of the Ring finals. The winner will get a World title match at SummerSlam.

Jade Cargill reached the Queen of the Ring finals with a victory over Roxanne Perez. Cargill hit the Jaded slam for the win, and she will face Asuka for the crown.

ROLLINS LOOMS LARGE

Seth Rollins opened the show with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. They injured LA Knight last week.

Rollins noted that he was the first NXT champion and the first WWE World champion (well, for this version of the belt). He said his Money in the Bank briefcase makes him the “end game.”

Penta came out for the opening match. He lost to Breakker, who hit a spear as Penta was flying off the top rope.

NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS NEWS

Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez had a brawl, with Raquel putting her foe through a table. They will have a street fight at Night of Champions.

Sami Zayn will also battle Karrion Kross, who has been the “devil on his shoulder” for several weeks.

These matches are on for Saturday, but the Intercontinental title match between Dominik Mysterio and AJ Styles was postponed. Dirty Dom is injured.

BAYLEY VS. BECKY

Bayley challenged Becky Lynch for the women’s Intercontinental title. Lyra Valkyria attacked Becky, allowing her to retain the title by disqualification.

Next week, Raw will take place in Pittsburgh and start at 6 p.m. Eastern.

The New Day will face The Judgment Day for the World tag team title. Which team will have their “Day” in the sun?
