Wings Center Li Yueru To Miss Remainder Of 2025 Season With ACL Sprain
On Tuesday afternoon, the Dallas Wings announced that they will be without one of their starters for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Wings center Li Yueru will miss the rest of the season with an ACL sprain she suffered on August 15th against the LA Sparks.
Dallas also said that “Additional updates will be provided when appropriate” and that Yueru is “expected to make a full recovery”.
On June 14th, the Wings acquired Yueru from the Seattle Storm in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 3rd round pick.
Since the trade, Yueru has averaged 7.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, eventually working her way into the starting lineup.
This offseason, the Wings will have exclusive rights to negotiate with Yueru as she enters free agency. Dallas will also have the exclusive rights to Luisa Geiselsoder and Haley Jones.
Wings GM Curt Miller will certinally look to bring Yueru back as she has been a solid piece to the rotation this season.
