Bill Belichick is dating a 24-year old. To some guys, that would seem like a really big deal. That would be something that you’d high five your buddies about around a campfire, while you sip on some brewskis and talk about the “good old days.” It would be a monumental achievement for someone who’s as old as the former Patriots HC. But…..I just can’t help but feel bad for the guy.

Why is that, you may ask? Well……just take a look at what transpired during Belichick’s most recent interview with CBS on Sunday Morning.

This is wild.

Hudson reportedly interrupted multiple times.

“We’re not talking about this.” Almost as if she had a leash around his neck, and was tugging him away from another dog in the park; the 24-year old former college cheerleader basically ran the show during the coach’s sit-down with Sunday Morning. She was basically the “mob boss” of the program, and was steering a ship that should’ve been controlled by CBS’ crew.

I…..I am flabbergasted by this entire situation. Bill Belichick; a man who has made a name for himself in the NFL, and who has built himself up to an immortal-like status……is being told what to do by someone who’s FIFTY YEARS YOUNGER than him? He’s being told what to do by someone who, and I’m just spit-balling here, was (roughly) one year old when he won his first title with New England.

(That, my friends, is GROSS to think about. But I digress……)

The craziest part of this whole thing, is that this was (reportedly) not the only moment where she did this. According to an article on TMZ.com; there were “numerous” other instances when she interrupted the Hall-of-Fame caliber coach, including during conversations when he was ACTUALLY talking about football. Not only that, there was also the moment when;

“At one point in the Q&A, Hudson got so heated … she stood up and walked out and wanted BB to follow. It’s unclear if Coach agreed, but the blowup delayed the whole interview for about half an hour.”

This just…..this just seems utterly surreal. This entire situation feels like a movie, or one of those poorly-written sketches that Saturday Night Live has been putting out lately. This woman, “J-Hud” (as I will call her), is basically acting like this man’s PR team. She’s basically leading Bill throughout his life, before he has actually hit the age where she has to……lead him throughout his life.

It’s all just a wild situation, and something that I never thought I’d see in my entire life. Sure; she’s an attractive woman who’s going after an older man. That has been a “thing” amongst celebrities for eons. The Anna Nicole-Smiths of the past walked, so the Jordon Hudsons of today could run. But for her to reportedly be “CCed” on any UNC communications that are sent Bill’s way, and for her to be ON THE FIELD during a recent Tar Heel practice:

That’s just next level nuts! It just speaks VOLUMES to the weirdness of this relationship, and how Bill’s hiring by the University of North Carolina has turned into the biggest circus in sports. Hopefully she doesn’t get in the way come September. But so far…..I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s holding a clipboard on the sideline come Week 1.

Get rid of her, Bill! But in the end, as always…..what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
