Conference-USA has some of the top talent in the nation across the board and that includes running backs.
The conference has produced an abundance of talent at the running back position over the years. In 2025, there will be a lot more talent taking the field ready to dominate in the trenches.

5. Elijah Green, Sam Houston State
Sam Houston State brings in North Carolina transfer Green after his four-year career with the Tar Heels. He played in 24 games in his career before transferring to Indiana in 2024. He redshirted after he did not appear in a single game.
4. Hahsaun Wilson, UTEP
Wilson played his first four years at Charlotte before transferring to UTEP. He finished with 559 yards to lead the 49ers last season. Now, he will take a step up for a UTEP offense that was in need of a starting running back.
3. Omiri Wiggins, Louisiana Tech
Wiggins was the leading rusher for the team last season. In his first Division I season, Wiggins totaled 527 yards and four touchdowns, averaging five yards per carry. Wiggins is another multi-faceted weapon in the conference, doubling as a talented pass catcher.
2. Kejon Owens, FIU
Owens is a fifth-year back with plenty of experience. He has totaled 928 yards and 11 touchdowns in his career at Florida International. He enters the season as the main back within a system that he knows well.
1. Cam Cook, Jacksonville State
Jacksonville State enters as the reigning two-time conference champs. Cook comes in from TCU and the rich just get richer. Cook was a top recruit coming out of high school who has experience during his two years at TCU. He will not head the backfield for Jacksonville State.
