Three UDFAs I Think Could Make The Browns 2025 Roster
Every year post draft, Browns GM Andrew Berry and the front office finds a gem or two when signing undrafted rookie free agents. Last year it was OL Javion Cohen and LB Winston Reid. Prior to 2024 Cleveland has signed LB Mohamoud Diabate, S D’Anthony Bell and CB A.J. Green. All contributed. This year will be no different. So far, we know of eleven UDFAs and will find out the full list just prior to May 9 when all the rookies will report to Berea. Here’s my three favorites who could make the 2025 roster.
Don Jones, CB, 6-3, 195 lbs., Colorado State. Jones was a priority UDFA signing. He received $40,000 guaranteed, with a $10,000 bonus. He scored an 8.12 out of 10.00 on his relative athletic score (RAS). Could be a potential sleeper. Has average speed but has the size to be very disruptive. Long, rangy, athletic corner who excels at press coverage.
Donovan McMillon, S, 6-2, 205 lbs., Pittsburgh. McMillon scored 9.20 out of 10.00 on RAS. A two-year starter at Pitt. He’s a solid tackler who can play well in coverage. Has the strength to challenge at the pass point. His best opportunity to make the roster will be to play special teams.
Adin Huntington, DT, 6-1, 281 lbs., Tulane. Huntington scored 9.64 out of 10.00 on RAS. He’s a very explosive prospect. A classic “tweener” who can play both inside and outside. Has great upper body strength and great hands. He has exceptional closing burst. Could be valuable on special teams.
Others who might impress, OG, Dartanyan Tinsley, Cincinnati, OG/C Justin Osborne, SMU, TE Eli Wilson, Appalachian State and CB LaMareon James, TCU.
