Time to do another 53-man roster prediction. Since training camp started there have been injuries, a retirement and seven practices that could affect the roster. Barring any further injuries, here’s my prediction.

Quarterback (3). Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, Sheduer Sanders. Pickett is either cut or traded. Traded would be better.

Running Back (3). Jerome Ford, Dylan Sanders, Pierre Strong. The team is awaiting the eventual suspension of Quinshon Judkins. This is a roster spot to watch around NFL cutdown day, August 27.

Tight End (3). David Njoku, Harold Fannin, Blake Whiteheart. Whiteheart might be moved to the practice squad it the Browns decide to keep running back Toa Taua for short yardage situations.

Wide Receiver (6). Jerry Jeudy, Diontae Johnson, Cedric Tillman, Jamari Thrash, DeAndre Carter, David Bell. Bell is the one to watch here. He could be replaced by Luke Floriea, Kisean Johnson or Gage Larvadain.

Offensive Tackle (4). Jack Conklin, Dawand Jones, Cornelius Lucus, Jackson Barton. Pretty much set.

Offensive Guard (4). Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, Teven Jenkins, Zak Zinter. Set.

Center (2). Ethan Pocic, Luke Wypler. Set.

Defensive Tackle (6). Mason Graham, Maliek Collins, Michael Hall, Shelby Harris, Jowon Briggs, Adin Huntington. Changed to six because both Huntington and Alex Wright can play both tackle and end.

Defensive End (4). Myles Garett, Isaiah McGuire, Alex Wright, Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. See above.

Linebacker (5). Carson Schwesinger, Mohamoud Diabate, Jerome Baker, Winston Ried, Nathaniel Watson. The Jordan Hicks retirement does take away a valuable veteran who called the defensive plays (green dot). Also, Bush might be suspended because of his legal troubles. Definitely position group to watch on cutdown day.

Cornerback (5). Denzel Ward, Greg Newsome, Cameron Mitchell, Myles Harden, Tony Brown. The Martin Emerson season ending injury takes away a strong starting member of the secondary. I’ll wait and see how DC Jim Schwartz addresses the situation. Safety Rayshawn Jenkins can play in the slot.

Safety (5). Grant Delpit, Ronnie Hickman, Rayshawn Jenkins, Damontae Kazee, Chris Edmonds. It’s either Edmonds or Nik Needham.

Long Snapper (1). Rex Sunahara. Set

Punter (1). Corey Bojorquez. Set.

Kicker (1). Dustin Hopkins. Set.
