ROH Death Before Dishonor: Paul Walter Hauser Uses Golden Globe in Fight Without Honor
QT Marshall specializes in wrestling celebrities. Last fall, he had a match with “Big Boom” AJ of social media fame.
Last night, Marshall battled actor and part-time wrestler Paul Walter Hauser in a Fight Without Honor.
This match got very dangerous, with thumbtacks and broken glass in the ring.
Hauser even used his Golden Globe award as a weapon. He won it for his portrayal of a murderer in the miniseries “Black Bird “in 2022.
Marshall finally won with a Diamond Cutter through a glass-covered table.
BIG TITLE MATCHES
Athena continued her “Forever” reign as ROH women’s champion, defeating Mina Shirakawa with the O-Face stunner in the main event.
Athena is the longest-reigning champion in ROH history, and the win ensured that she would reach 1,000 days as champion.
Since the show took place at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, The Blue Meanie was one of Athena’s “minions.”
Bandido won a 37-minute lucha libre war with Hechicero to retain the ROH World title. Bandido finally put Hechicero away with a German suplex.
Lee Moriarty retained the Pure Rules title with a win over Xelhua from Mexico’s CMLL promotion.
SAMMY’S BELTS
Sammy Guevara had a busy night. He teamed up with The Von Erichs to lose to Shane Taylor Promotions. STP captured the vacant ROH six-man tag team title.
Guevara picked a mystery partner to try to win the ROH tag team belts that he had held with the injured Dustin Rhodes.
Sammy chose Rush, and they beat The Outrunners to win the belts. Does that mean Guevara is a member of La Faccion Ingobernable? Yes! They beat up The Von Erichs after the match.
PURE TOURNAMENT
The women’s Pure Rules title tournament finally got underway, as Queen Aminata pinned Taya Valkyrie after a headbutt.
Blake Christian & Lee Johnson defeated The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett).
Tomohiro Ishii & Hologram won the pay-per-view opener over The Premier Athletes.

Former ROH champion Jay Lethal defeated Jordan Oliver with the figure-four leglock to kick off the Zero Hour pre-show.
