It was Opening Night for Single- and Double-A ball, yet with just one “name” starter on the docket as the Friday Night ace: Noah Schultz, at Birmingham. And it didn’t go well.

Uh-oh, the downfall of the Knights has begun! OK we can relax, it’s just a two-game losing streak. Much like the parent club, Charlotte’s offense is starting to get a bit too much into the wild mood swings, as it was handcuffed to three hits on Wednesday and just four tonight.

Sean Burke and the White Sox never had a chance, and the Knights were three-hit by Norfolk. Both clubs remain in first place, however.
