NXT Stand and Deliver: Oba Femi, Stephanie Vaquer Retain Championships
While WrestleMania 41 saw several titles change hands, it was good to be a defending champion at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday afternoon.
Oba Femi retained the NXT championship in the main event, defeating Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans. Femi pinned Evans after a powerbomb.
In a battle of former AEW wrestlers, Ricky Saints beat Ethan Page to retain the North American title. Saints won with the Roshambeaux (elevated Pedigree).
Stephanie Vaquer held onto the NXT women’s title, defeating Jordynne Grace, Jaida Parker, and Giulia. Vaquer scored the pin on Parker.
CLIMB THE LADDER
Sol Ruca used her dazzling athleticism to win the vacant North American women’s title. She won a ladder match over Izzi Dame, Thea Hail, Zaria, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice.
Hank Walker & Tank Ledger captured the NXT tag team title from Nathan Frazier & Axiom. Hank & Tank went from a losing streak to beating everybody and winning the belts.
CROSSING THE BOSS
Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo turned against Tony D’Angelo during The Family’s six-man match against Dark State. This led to D’Angelo losing after a triple powerbomb.
On the pre-show, Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley won a four-way elimination match over Fatal Influence, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, and Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez.
Dolin & Paxley earned a shot at the winners of tonight’s WrestleMania 41 match for the WWE women’s tag team title.
Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez were scheduled to defend against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria. However, Lyra needs a new partner after a backstage attack on Bayley.
