Kyle Fletcher Wins TNT Championship on AEW Collision

Kyle Fletcher defeated Dustin Rhodes in a Chicago Street Fight to win the TNT title last night on AEW Collision.

Both men survived devastating moves in this hardcore battle.

Fletcher hit a jumping tombstone piledriver onto a pair of chairs. Rhodes delivered a Canadian Destroyer off the top rope through a table.

Even after thumbtacks got involved, the match kept going. Fletcher finally stabbed Dustin in the leg with screwdriver and hit a brainbuster to win the title.

MOXLEY VS. DARBY

Jon Moxley is angry at Darby Allin for wiping out The Death Riders in Moxley’s unsuccessful rematch with AEW World champion “Hangman” Adam Page on Dynamite.

Moxley went looking for Allin, who surprised him with a choloroform-soaked towel. Later, Allin almost threw Mox off the balcony.

The lesson: Don’t mess with a guy who conquered Mt. Everest.

WHO CAN SURVIVE?

Max Caster threw out another “Best Wrestler Alive” challenge, and for the first time, he didn’t lose!

Rush answered the call, but he couldn’t defeat Caster within the five-minute time limit.

Scorpio Sky & Top Flight (Sky Flight) won their first trios match together over Shane Taylor & The Infantry.

WOMEN’S ACTION

Kris Statlander scored a submission victory over Lena Kross.

Willow Nightingale was unable to overcome the Triangle of Madness. Julia Hart and Skye Blue distracted Willow, causing her to lose to “The Toxic Spider” Thekla.

TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT

Brody King & Bandido defeated The Gates of Agony to wrap of the quarterfinals of the tournament for a tag team title match at Forbidden Door. Bandido pinned Bishop Kaun after a 450 splash.

We moved on to the semifinals, where FTR defeated The Bang Bang Gang. The other semifinal will be King & Bandido vs. The Young Bucks on Wednesday’s Dynamite in Cleveland.

RING OF HONOR

Collision aired on Thursday to avoid going head-to-head with SummerSlam on Saturday. Ring of Honor was the unofficial pre-show at its normal time of 7 p.m. on Honor Club.

Bandido continueg his impressive ROH title reign with a victory over Adam Priest. Gringo Loco defeated Jon Cruz with a split-legged moonsault.

Tomohiro Ishii & Hologram beat MxM Collection when Hologram pinned Mansoor after a 450 splash. Xelhua beat Virus in a Pure Rules match.

Blake Christian defeated ROH legend Jimmy Jacobs with the Vanilla Choke Zero.
