This past November, boxing fans across the country were recipients of a very special treat thanks to Netflix. No, I’m not talking about Paul vs. Tyson, which ended up being the biggest snooze-fest in the history of boxing. No, I’m not talking about the final season of their hit-series Stranger Things, which STILL hasn’t been released since season four dropped back in 2022.

What I am talking about, ladies and gentlemen, is the THRILLING sequel to the outstanding rivalry between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

It was a fight for the ages, that left both women battered and beaten throughout it’s 10-rounds. These two warriors went the distance against each other, with Serrano even suffering a very GRUESOME cut above her eye that I……don’t think I can share in this article? (Click HERE if you want to see it).

It was an emotional and physical bout with non-stop action, which made the Paul/Tyson fight look like it should’ve been the opener on the card. We saw FLURRIES of punches thrown between both sides, with Serrano landing a total of 107 MORE shots than Taylor. Not only that; there was also the controversial “head-butts” from Katie Taylor, which resulted in a point-deduction in the 8th round of the contest.

In the end though, even with the deduction and the wildly-lopsided totals on the scorecard…..Katie Taylor SOMEHOW pulled off the win, bringing her record against Serrano to 2-0.

But now, after all of the speculation and ‘hoopla’ online, it looks like the 3rd fight in this EPIC trilogy has been made official. It looks like these two will make history once again, as they square off at Madison Square Garden on Netflix, as part of the first-ever all-women’s professional boxing card in the history of the venue.

This, ladies and gentlemen……this is POISED to be an epic-event that will have MILLIONS of fans trying to take down Netflix’s servers once again. After two events where these women brought the HOUSE DOWN, and STOLE THE SHOW; they will be READY to make history once again. They will be PREPARED to make this third (and possibly final) fight one to remember……with (hopefully) no “controversies” to taint the outcome.

It’s going to be MIRACULOUS, and after a Paul/Tyson card that had over 108 MILLION eyeballs gazing upon it……I think it’s safe to say that Netflix is going to see an EPIC turnout come July 11th. I think it’s safe to say that these two are going to have A LOT of extra fans watching the third installment of this trilogy, after their “Fight of the Year” caliber performance at AT&T Stadium a number of months ago.

The question is…..who will come out victorious? Who will be leaving New York with the win and the belts? Well I know one thing’s for certain…..I would be STUPID to not bet on the Puerto Rican PHENOM, Amanda Serrano (-120 as of writing this). She is going to have A LOT to prove going into this fight, and will be walking into MSG with an “ALL GAS, NO BRAKES” type of mentality.

This is bound to be another INSTANT CLASSIC, and I can’t wait for July to get here. But in the end, as always…..what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
