Dallas Wings Announce Training Camp Roster
Training Camp is nearly underway for the Dallas Wings, and many eyes will be upon them as they enter their much-anticipated 2025 season.
It’s not often that a 9-31 team generates much interest the following season, but that will be the case for Dallas in 2025.
The Wings will play a pair of preseason games before tipping off their season on May 16th against the Minnesota Lynx.
First, Dallas will return to school as they travel to the University of Notre Dame to take on the Las Vegas Aces on Friday, May 2nd.
Finally, they will return to Arlington, where they will take on the Toyota Antelopes on Saturday, May 10th.
Let’s break down some of the faces fans will see in a Wings uniform throughout training camp and during the pair of preseason games.
Once again, it’s Arike Ogunbowale who headlines the Wings roster. The career 20.6 points per game scorer is coming off her fourth all-star selection.
Teaira McCowan and Maddy Seigrist will also return to the Wings as they remain staples in the organization.
Perhaps the most anticipated individual season in the history of the franchise will come from the 2025 number one overall pick, Paige Bueckers.
Bueckers enters with major expectations after leading the UConn Huskies to a National Championship.
A crop of new key players will be heading to Dallas, led by former Sun guard/forward DiJonai Carrington.
NaLyssa Smith, Myisha Hines-Allen, and Tyasha Harris will also factor into the Wings rotation in major ways this season.
The last few spots will be determined in camp, as several training camp invitees will look to make good impressions on first-year head coach Chris Koclanes and GM Curt Miller.
