Bueckers Scores 10 As Wings Drop Season Opener To Lynx
The eyes of the sports world were on the College Park Center in Arlington on Friday night as the Dallas Wings opened their 2025 season.
It was the highly anticipated WNBA debut of Paige Bueckers after she was drafted number one overall by the Wings in this past draft.
Returning just three players from the 2024 roster, most of the Wings suited up in a Dallas uniform for the first time tonight.
After a solid first half, the Wings struggled to maintain momentum, falling 84-99 to open their 2025 season.
Paige Bueckers tallied ten points, a team-high seven rebounds, and two assists in her first game in the WNBA.
Arike Ogunbowale led the way for Dallas with 16 points, but shot just 4-12 from the field
DiJonai Carrington scored 15 points in her Wings debut, joining Ogunbowale, Bueckers, Myisha
Hines-Allen, and Maddy Seigrist in double figures.
Dallas will be back in action on Monday when they take on the Seattle Storm at the College Park Center.
