Ballpark Bets: Winners, Total Bases, Home Runs, and Strikeouts

Logan Gilbert 6+ Strikeouts / Mariners win (+154)

Since returning from his injury, Gilbert has not skipped a beat. It’s been one start, but he managed to punch out ten batters and have 21 whiffs. Talk about establishing yourself early. There’s a reason he ranks in the 100th percentile for strikeout rate and even with a good Cubs roster, hitting six is very doable. The Mariners fall in line and secure a W behind him.

Diamondbacks -1.5 (-165)

Antonio Sentezela is…not good. If you go month by month, his earned run totals are quite high. Somehow his month of June has been better, but that’s not saying alot. One of the best offenses in baseball with the Diamondbacks, I see the spread hitting, as they have already hit the mark twice this weekend series.

Phillies Money line (-109)

The Phillies put up ten runs in the first game. The Mets 11 in the second game. I expect a close one in the finale cause why not. I do think the Phillies pull this one off, simply due to the fact that Jesus Luzardo is pitching for them. It’ll be a closer game, but Luzardo has been an elite presence behind Wheeler.

Dinger of the Day!

Eugenio Suarez (+220)

He’s hit three this series. What’s one more right?
