Ballpark Bets: Winners, Total Bases, and HOME RUNS
Paul Skenes 7+ (-140)
The man with the best mustache in baseball. Paul Skenes has been a machine on the mound as of late. He’s surrendered just four earned runs in his last six starts and reaching the seven strikeout mark has been a thing of beauty in that span as well.
He has a tall task, taking on the Cubs and their lethal offense, but nothing that he can’t handle. Skenes delivering inside Wrigley Field will be a thing of beauty.
Red Sox Money line (-144)
This one is due to the pitching matchup. The Red Sox have their ace in Garrett Crochet taking the mound. He faced the Yankees last weekend, and despite the slash line he pitched fairly well.
Yarborough doesn’t scream confidence and the Red Sox have played clean baseball the last two games and have won their last two series.
New York Mets Money line (-164)
The Mets are playing some of their best baseball. They have so many bats going right now, with Juan Soto, Pete Alonso, Jeff McNeill leading the way. Clay Holmes faces off against Taj Bradley and even with the Rays losing a series to the Red Sox, they’ve been playing a good brand of baseball.
But the Mets are the best team in baseball record wise and for a good reason.
Bobby Witt Jr 2+ Total Bases (-130)
One of the most electrifying players in the sport hitting in his very own hitter friendly ballpark. The A’s have been playing some of the worst baseball of their season and Luis Severino has gotten knocked around a bit. I expect a big game out of the Royals top player.
Dinger of the Day!
Juan Soto (+475)
The man is hitting .378 with a 1.333 OPS and has four home runs in the month of June. He’s back baby.
