Ballpark Bets: Winners, Just the Bags, and Dinger of the Day

Red Sox ML -121

What a heartbreak last night against the Twins. The Red Sox had em on the ropes until the rain delay. Well, the starter is TBD, but for the Red Sox it is Lucas Giolito. He had a shaky start last time around but the offense rallied. I believe they rally tonight and get the W, as the bats are waking up

Mets ML (-131)

Don’t look now, but the Mets are in first place in the NL East. They’ve gone 7-1 in their last eight games and a juicy pitching matchup favors them. Sean Manaea has been good since returning from injury and I believe they get the W and bounce back against Bergert.

Nick Kurtz 2+ Total Bases (-135)

Kurtz has been a mad man the last month of play and has been one of the best hitters in the sport. He is at home, where he has the second best OPS, second best wOBA, and tied for the best wRC+. What I’m saying is that he is an offensive machine. This feels like a great secure bet to make and riding the hot bat.

Dinger of the Day

Brent Rooker +350

The balls tend to fly inside of the Sacramento ballpark. Rooker has hits 8 of his home runs at home and also has the highest OPS at home among A’s batters. His wOBA is also the highest among A’s batters at home as well. He does have a nice matchup against Evans, so I’m riding Rooker at home.
