Ballpark Bets: Strikeouts, Sunday Night Baseball, and Dingers

Paul Skenes 7+ Strikeouts (-115)

Six is preferably his sweet spot. But with the way the Phillies offense has been looking and is without Bryce Harper, this ought to be appetizing. Skenes has been a machine with strikeouts the last four starts and has really dialed things in. He has reached the mark in his last four starts and has a whopping 32-4 K-BB rate in his last four starts. Good luck. And the Pirates can go for the sweep today.

Carlos Rodon 7+ AND Hunter Dobbins 4+ Strikeouts (+146)

There is no team more prone to the strikeouts than the Red Sox. Well, unless you are the Rockies. But today, the Red Sox get the luxury of having to face a high strikeout rated pitcher. Rodon is a machine and ranks in the 92nd percentile for strikeout rate. Oh, and he has hit the mark in his last four starts and had two 10 strikeout performances in May.

Dobbins hitting the mark for four isn’t without question. He has the stuff and his sweet spot is typically five. He hates the Yankees, so extra juice will help this performance double flow.

Spencer Strider under 6.5 strikeouts (+120)

I know it will be a pitcher friendly ballpark, but Strider has only gotten past five once since returning from injury. Until proven otherwise, I will ride the wave of hitting the under.

Joe Ryan 4+ Strikeouts and Twins Win (-120)

Joe Ryan is a strikeout machine. But, he is facing a Blue Jays team that is one of the best teams to not strikeout. However, hitting four is feasible and Ryan has a 6-2 record for the season. Ride that wave, I know I am.

Dinger of the Day

Shohei Ohtani (+190)

Not sure who Michael McGreevy is, but he will learn who Shohei Ohtani is today.
