Ballpark Bets: Reds, Red Sox, and Dinger of the Day

Andrew Abbott 6+ Strikeouts (-105)

He’s an All-Star and has certainly been pitching like one. Andrew Abbott has been more than stellar this season for the reds and has really helped form a dynamic duo alongside ace pitcher Hunter Greene.

He is coming off a complete game shutout and also has reached the six strikeout in two of his last three starts. Building off his last start is huge.

Elly De La Cruz 2+ Total Bases (+105)

He has been the best hitter in the month of June. The Reds star short stop has been stellar this month and truly carrying the bulk load offensively. He leads the league in OPS with 1.281 and sits 8th in batting average.

Of his 17 hits, nine have went for extra bases, which is an absurd clip. He is also a machine on the base paths and can turn a single into a double with ease.

Walker Buehler under 2.5 Earned Runs (-120)

There is something going on with the Red Sox pitching and it’s in a good way. Over the last seven starts, the starters have only allowed seven earned runs combined. It’s quite remarkable actually, cause prior to June the rotation was a complete question mark.

Buehler was good his last time around and given the way Seattle has been delivering offensively, Buehler hitting this mark seems likely.

Dinger of the Day!

Vladimir Guerrero Jr (+425)

Guerrero has hit five of his eight home runs this season off right handed pitching and Brandon Pfaadt presents a good opportunity for him to crush one dead center.
