Logan Gilbert 6+ / Nathan Eovaldi 5+ (+170)

This is the pitching matchup of the day. A lovely NL West showdown between the Rangers and the Mariners and for the Rangers this is huge, as they get Nathan Eovaldi back onto the mound.

Both offenses are very prone to the strikeouts and both pitchers have been strikeout machines this season. Gilbert ranks in the 98th percentile for strikeout rate, which is extremely elite and Eovaldi is right in the 80th.

5 is bold considering Eovaldi is returning from injury, but I love it. Ride the pitchers ladies and gentlemen.

Yandy Diaz 2+ Total Bases (+110)

Don’t look now, but Yandy Diaz has been one of the best bats in the month of June and has been instrumental to the Rays success offensively. He has been a hitting machine. He has 9 extra base hits of his 34 hits, but his .405 average speaks volumes this month.

Two singles still counts as two total bases and I will take that any day of the week and his ability to create offense (214 wRC+) speaks volumes.

Jose Soriano Under 2.5 Earned Runs (-170)

Soriano has been steady for the Angels and that’s a blessing to their rotation. He started the month allowing 7 earned runs, but has been very strong since that point.

In 20.2 innings pitched, he had allowed just two earned runs. He is taking on a pesky Nationals lineup that’s headlined by James Wood, and while I believe he will give up earned runs, I think the hot play continues and he just allows two at the maximum.

Los Angeles Dodgers Money line (-158)

The Dodgers have one of the best offenses in baseball. Noah Cameron has been a pleasant surprise this season for the very good Royals pitching staff. However, the Yankees got to him and the Dodgers can too.

The Royals offense has not been very good this season and while Dustin May has had its ups and downs, the Dodgers are a different beast of competition.
