Skubal 7+/Tigers Win (-115)
This doesn’t really need much of an explanation. Tarik Skubal in his last 11 starts has a 95-3 K-BB rate. Sure, the Orioles are turning a corner and playing a better brand of baseball, but the reality is they haven’t faced Skubal. Tigers win behind their ace.
Sonny Gray 6+/Jacob Misiorowski 4+ (+132)
Welcome to the Show Misiorowski! The Brewers prospect will make his debut today against the pesky Cardinals offense. He brings a very keen fastball and it should be fun to see his arsenal on display today. Four strikeouts seems low, but you never know with a debut.
Sonny Gray is well…Sonny Gray. He is still a strikeout machine, ranking in the 78th percentile. In May he hit the mark in all but two starts and he managed to punch out five and shutout the Dodgers. Striking out six seems doable and against a fairly weaker Brewers offense compared to the Dodgers lineup.
Seiya Suzuki 2+ Total Bases (+115)
Seiya Suzuki has been an absolute gem this season. The Cubs get to take on Andrew Heaney and the Pirates, so there is a challenge as Heaney has been good. He’s been a total bases machine and one of the best bats for the Cubs this season. Love it at home and against this Pirates team and bullpen.
Dinger of the Day!
Riley Greene (+380)
Greene is tied for second on the team in home runs for the Tigers. Him going yard seems likely given the pitching on the Orioles side of things.
