Athena, Bandido Retain Championships at ROH Supercard of Honor

Athena is the “Forever Champion” in Ring Of Honor, holding the women’s title for a mind-boggling 945 days.

She defeated Thunder Rosa last night at the ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view in Arlington, Texas.

Bandido is putting together an impressive second reign as Ring Of Honor World champion. He beat Konosuke Takeshita to retain the title in the main event.

Red Velvet was unable to defend the ROH women’s TV title due to injury, so a four-way “Wild Card” match took place to crown an interim champion.

Mina Shirakawa won the belt, defeating Miyu Yamashita, Persephone, and Yuka Sakazaki.

THANKS, “DAD”

Nick Wayne hung onto the ROH TV title with a win over Mexican star Titan. Wayne’s spiritual father, Christian Cage, gave him a congratulatory hug after the match.

Rhodes challenged STP to face him, Guevara and the Von Erichs this afternoon at the AEW All In Texas pay-per-view.

SHOW ME MORE MONEY

AR Fox won a $50,000 four-way match over Adam Priest, Lee Johnson, and Atlantis Jr.

This is the second time Fox has won a “money match,” as he has collected $150,000 in bonuses from AEW/ROH boss Tony Khan.

Mexican headliner Hechicero defeated British heavyweight champion Michael Oku in the pay-per-view opener.

ZERO HOUR PRE-SHOW

Blake Christian defeated Jay Lethal to open the pre-show with the Vanilla Choke Zero.

(Fun fact: I announced Lethal’s ROH debut 22 years ago!)

Dark Order beat The Frat House after a distraction by teenager Negative One. He is the son of Dark Order’s deceased leader, Brodie Lee.

Diamante defeated Lady Frost, and The Von Erichs pleased the Texas crowd with a win over The Premier Athletes.
