Ballpark Bets: Performance Doubles, Strikeouts, Dinger of the Day
Mets Money line (-106)
The Mets have had a very up and down year, but this team plays its best ball against the Phillies. The Mets are 5-2 against the Phillies this year and have won three of their last four games overall. The bats are heating up and even though the pitching may slightly favor the Phillies, this team took it to Cristopher Sanchez last night.
Luis Gil 4+ Strikeouts and Yankees Money line, Hunter Brown 5+ and Astros Money line (+152)
This one feels doable and in different ways. Cam Schlittler struck out eight last night and the Yankees smoked the Nationals. The Nationals are not very good and Gil should at the very least get four. Mackenzie Gore has been good mainly, but the Yankees bats at home are better than the Nationals overall.
Hunter Brown striking out one of the teams that prone to the strikeout is a good recipe. He’s been a strikeout pitcher this season. The Astros should walk away with the win and take care of business.
Dinger of the Day
Kyle Schwarber +240
Schwarber has two hits against Manaea and one of those has gone for a home run. Sounds like a good night for that to happen again.
