Ballpark Bets: Winners, Strikeouts, Just the Bags

Red Sox Money line (+153)

The Red Sox have simply owned the Yankees this season. They have won six out of seven games and took a win in which they went 3-19 with RISP and left 14 on base. Wild. But Brayan Bello has a career 2.21 ERA against the Yankees and Max Fried has a 6.80 ERA since July 1. Smells like a good day for the underdogs.

Pirates, White Sox, and Brewers Money line (+412)

The Pirates have the eighth best home record in all of baseball. They are taking on Senzatela and the Rockies, so that alone smells like a victory for the Buckos. There is just something about the White Sox and Fridays at home in those city connect jerseys. Zebby Matthews and his high strikeout rate comes in, but I’m picking f the underdog. The Brewers are just a force to be reckoned with and are taking on a Giants team that’s been fading for a while now.

Blake Snell 5+ Strikeouts and Yu Darvish 4+ Strikeouts (-145)

Blake Snell struck out just three batters last time against the Padres, but still had a good outing. It’ll be tough in road inside Petco, but I dig the five strikeouts given his K/9 since returning from injury. Darvish has been good since coming back and he reached that mark last start, so there is a good recipe here for both parties.

Corbin Carroll 2+ Total Bases and Samuel Basallo TGH (+147)

Carroll has been a total bases machine and has been strong at the plate for the Diamondbacks this month. He is on pace for 20 triples and set the franchise record this week. Should be doable against Zac Litell. Basallo is coming into today signing his big extension and has been a good bat in his short sample size.

Dinger of the Day

Cal Raleigh (+145)

He is oh so close to that record and hitting one at home against one of the A’s lesser pitchers feels like a lock.
