Ballpark Bets: Sunday Funday of Baseball!
Manny Machado 2+ Total Bases (+110)
One of the best bats for Padres is Machado and it’s not even close. He only has two hits the entire series, but one thing he has done extremely well this season is hit against righties. Just in terms of extra bass hits, he has 23 doubles and ten home runs. Pretty good stuff. I’d take it.
Jacob Misiorowski 6+ Strikeouts (-190)
What else can we say about the rookie? He brings elite velocity and is a strikeout machine. His command needs to be better, but striking out six should be no problem for him against the Nationals, who have been prone to the swing and miss this season.
Kyle Stowers & Agustin Ramirez To Get a Hit (+110)
One of the reasons the Marlins are one game under .500 has to do with how good the young guys have been. Ramirez alone has been a machine this series, hitting two solo blasts yesterday and the walkoff hit on Friday. Stowers has also just been a menace at the plate and this seems extremely doable against Gil, who’s coming back from injury.
Dinger of the Day
Brent Rooker (+235)
Rooker has been good enough against lefties this season. He leads the team in home runs against them and it feels inevitable he gets one off Eduardo Rodriguez, who isn’t shy to giving them up this season.
