Whoop That Trick: Undertaker Teaches TNA Champion a Lesson

Give Trick Williams credit; he stepped to the Undertaker last night on NXT.

Of course, it didn’t go well.

Williams claimed to be the greatest TNA champion of all time. Undertaker criticized Trick’s attitude, so Trick took a shot at the Deadman.

Bad idea. Undertaker responded with a chokeslam.

EIGHT-PERSON TAG MATCH

The Culling (Shawn Spears, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley & Nico Vance) won the opener over Sol Ruca, Zaria, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger.

Dark State arrived and the lights went out. When they came back on, Paxley pinned Zaria.

Jacy Jayne bragged about holding the NXT women’s title and the TNA Knockouts belt. Jaida Parker and Lash Legend stepped forward as her next challengers.

Jasper Troy continued his ascension after winning the first season of the “LFG” show. He beat Ricky Saints after the ramp collapsed and Saints was counted out.

THE GLAMOROUS LIFE

Blake Monroe won her first singles match in NXT over Wren Sinclair. The former AEW women’s champion (as Mariah May) won with a version of the DDT.

Monroe also fended off an attack by Jordynne Grace after the match.

RETURN OF THE COBRA

“All Ego” Ethan Page debuted a new Canadian version of the North American championship. Santino Marella interrupted.

Marella is a former Intercontinental champion and the current TNA Director of Authority. He still wrestles, too, as he challenged Page to a title match next week.

NXT champion Oba Femi retained the championship in the main event with a victory over tag team partners Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.

When the partners started battling each other, Femi swooped in and hit the Fall From Grace powerbomb on Briggs for the victory.
