Shedeur Sanders, and the entire Sanders family, have had a bit of a rocky road to the NFL. For starters; they had to deal with all of the jokes about “nepotism” surrounding Shedeur getting his number retired at Colorado. Then, there was his CATACLYSMIC DROP in the draft, to the point where he was selected with the 144th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns.

He has had nothing but jokes surrounding his journey to the league, and now……he may be setting himself up for another BIG ONE in the not-to-distant future.

Recently, the Cleveland Browns’ new quarterback was seen working the drive-thru at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was slinging tenders, pouring drinks, and serving up smiles as Browns fans made their way through the long line to his window. It was obviously a harmless “marketing gimmick,” just like the athletes before him have done. But if I know anything about the internet (and as someone who’s been doing content for almost a decade, I believe I do)…..this video is probably going to age as well as a block of Gruyere Cheese in the hot summer sun.

Shedeur, with all of the trash-talking and the “cockiness” that he has put on display for the world, already has a target on his back heading into this season. He is already a “bad guy” of sorts, with people all across the world wanting to see him fail. He has pulled SO MANY over-the-top antics over the past number of years, including this RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE draft day set-up…

He has turned himself into someone that fans love to hate, and now that this video of him working at a fast food restaurant is readily available…..I feel like that hate is just going to continue. The moment that this man screws up in Cleveland, I can assure you that the “trolls” of the internet are going to use this clip as ammo on social media. I can assure you that football fans across the world will be cracking jokes, saying things like; “it’s time to go back to the drive thru” and whatnot.

It’s just bound to happen. But in the end, as always……what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
