Man City Ink Recording Breaking Deal With Puma

The Puma logo on Manchester City’s iconic jerseys won’t be going anywhere.

On Tuesday morning, City announced that they had signed a 10-year contract extension with Puma that will take their partnership to 2035 for a cost of an astonishing $1.3 billion.

The deal will shatter the previous record for a jersey deal, which was held by Manchester United in its 2023 10-year, 900 million pound deal with Adidas.

“We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations.” Ferran Soriano, chief executive officer of City Football Group (CFG), said. “We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.”

City was eliminated in the Round of 16 at this summer’s Club World Cup after a disappointing campaign, which saw them eliminated early in the Champions League and place 3rd in the Premier League.

Flashing forward to 2025/2026, City will look to rebound following their summer of spending to refurbish their roster.
