Goldberg capped off an amazing career on Saturday Night’s Main Event in his hometown of Atlanta.

He’s not going home with the World title, though.

Gunther defeated the 58-year-old former WCW champion to hang onto his WWE World title.

Goldberg hit the spear and jackhammer, but the referee had been knocked out. Gunther recovered and won the match with a sleeper.

Goldberg was surrounded by family and friends after the match, and he thanked them as the show went off the air.

MORE MAIN EVENT

In the opening bout, Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre with the RKO. Logan Paul attacked Orton after the match.

Jelly Roll tried to make the save, but McIntyre flattened the singer with a Claymore Kick.

Solo Sikoa retained the US title with a victory over his older brother, Jimmy Uso. Sikoa’s MFT crew interfered, and Solo scored the win with a rollup.

Seth Rollins appeared to suffer a knee injury during his match with LA Knight after hitting a springboard dive. Knight hit the BFT for the victory.

NXT GREAT AMERICAN BASH

WWE also counterprogrammed AEW All In Texas by presenting NXT Great American Bash in the afternoon.

J’Von Evans opened the show with an upset win over the much larger Jasper Troy, who won the first season of the “LFG” show.

Sol Ruca held onto the North American women’s title with a win over Izzi Dame. Ruca will try to win the WWE women’s tag team title with Zaria tonight at Evolution 2.

“All Ego” Ethan Page retained the North American title, defeating Ricky Saints in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Page won after hitting the Ego’s Edge off the ramp through two tables.

Oba Femi defeated Yoshiki Inamura with a powerbomb to retain the NXT title.

In the main event, Blake Monroe & Jordynne Grace beat Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley).

Masha Slamovich made her WWE debut to prevent Jasmyn Nyx from helping her Fatal Influence friends. Grace knocked out Jayne with a backfist to set up the pin for Monroe.
