Jelly Roll on WWE Smackdown: Will He Wrestle Logan Paul?
Jelly Roll sang “Liar” last night on WWE Smackdown in Nashville, and then Logan Paul showed up.
Paul ironically complained about non-wrestlers invading WWE. Randy Orton came to help Jelly, only to be flattened by Drew McIntyre’s Claymore Kick.
Jelly offered to be in Orton’s corner against McIntyre tonight on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
EVOLUTION PREVIEW
Alexa Bliss won the opening four-way battle with Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, and Kairi Sane. Bliss hit the Sister Abigail on Sane for the pin.
They were accompanied by their partners for Sunday’s match at Evolution 2 for the WWE women’s tag team title, which belongs to Perez & Raquel Rodriguez.
NEW CHAMPIONS
Bliss isn’t the only wrestler who is still inspired by the late Bray Wyatt. Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis of the Wyatt Sicks faction are the new WWE tag team champions.
They defeated the Street Profits with a powerbomb/neckbreaker combo move. Now all the teams that are feuding with the Wyatts can try to win the belts.
R-Truth scored a win over Aleister Black, continuing his momentum since the fans overturned his firing. Black brawled with Damien Priest after the match.
TIFFY TIME OR TRISHY TIME?
Tiffany Stratton said she would defeat Trish Stratus at Evolution to retain the WWE women’s title.
Tiffy said a victory like that would make her an all-time great. Stratus replied that she would capture her eighth championship in WWE.
Naomi came out with her Money in the Bank briefcase, but Jade Cargill clobbered her. They will meet in a No Holds Barred match at Evolution.
In the main event, Jimmy Uso & LA Knight beat Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo. Uso pinned Sikoa, previewing tonight’s match on the Main Event for Solo’s US title.
