Top Wide Receivers in the SEC Heading into the 2025 College Football Season
The SEC has some of the top talent in the nation across the board and that includes wide receivers.
The conference has produced an abundance of talent at the WR position over the years. In 2025, there will be a lot more talent taking the field ready to dominate on the outside.
As we prepare for the 2025 season, we will be taking a look at some of the best players at skill positions around the nation.
Below, check out the top wide receivers in the SEC for the 2025 season.
8. KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
Concepcion has a tremendous upside this season. He fits well at Texas A&M after two years at N.C. State. His production took a dip last season after 10 touchdowns as a true freshman.
7. Deion Burks, Oklahoma
Burks joined the SEC last season after transferring from Purdue. He logged 31 catches in just five games as he struggled with injuries. This season, Burks is hoping to be available full-time and make a major impact.
6. Eric Singleton, Auburn
Singleton stood out at Georgia Tech last season. He was an extremely highly-touted recruit in the transfer portal after 10 touchdowns in two years. Singleton, who doubles as a track star, brings great speed on the outside.
5. Cayden Lee, Ole Miss
Lee stepped up in the absence of Tre Harris last season. He totaled 874 yards on 57 catches. His numbers improved in the second half of the season, where he did not register a single drop. This gave Lee experience as the team’s top receiver, which he will be this season. Lane Kiffin will have the luxury of a true WR1 once again.
4. Kevin Coleman Jr., Missouri
Coleman Jr. helped Mississippi State move the ball in what was a down year for the team. He put up impressive umbers with 74 catches for 932 yards and six touchdowns. Coleman Jr. is now at Missouri and will play within an explosive offense for the Tigers. He does not bring great size but is quick with insane hands.
3. Aaron Anderson, LSU
The former Alabama receiver is now a standout for LSU. Last season, he totaled 884 yards on 61 catches playing with Garrett Nussmeier. This season, Anderson will have an NFL quarterback throwing him the ball once again. Anderson is in for a big year as the Tigers’ top weapon.
2. Cam Coleman, Auburn
Auburn struggled under center last season but Coleman was still impressive. He logged 16.2 yards per catch with eight touchdowns. Jackson Arnold is now the quarterback and this should help Coleman take the next step.
1. Ryan Williams, Alabama
Williams returns as one of the three best receivers in the nation. As a true freshman, he took the SEC by storm, catching five touchdowns in his first four career games. Williams slowed down toward the end as the Crimson Tide turned to the run game with Jalen Milroe. With a new quarterback, Williams should put up video game numbers.
