Jordynne Grace has appeared in two Royal Rumbles, first as a visitor from TNA and this year as WWE wrestler. The powerful Grace shows all of the signs of being a future champion.

She will get that opportunity at Evolution 2 on July 13 in Atlanta when she challenges NXT women’s champion Jacy Jayne.

Grace earned the title shot in the main event of Tuesday’s NXT episode. She won a four-way match over Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, and Lash Legend.

Grace hit a Torture Rack powerbomb on Parker for the victory.

WHOSE BELT IS IT ANYWAY?

Trick Williams opened the show by defending the TNA championship. He beat another WWE wrestler, Josh Briggs, after the Trick Shot knee strike.

Joe Hendry, who actually works for TNA, attacked Trick after the match. Hendry will challenge Williams for the title at the TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 20.

Je’Von Evans pinned Tavion Heights after a spinning splash from the top rope.

As a result, Heights can’t leave No Quarter Catch Crew. If everyone wants to leave, why doesn’t the group just disband?

Ricky Saints pinned Ashante “Thee” Adonis after a Roshambeaux slam. “All Ego” Ethan Page attacked Saints to set up their rubber match.

NXT champion Oba Femi and Yoshiki Inamura talked about their upcoming title bout.

Jasper Troy jumped Inamura, and Troy also attacked Evans after his match. So the first four segments of the show ended with surprise attacks.

NEW HERITAGE CUP HOLDER

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated “The Don” Tony D’Angelo to win the Heritage Cup. Previous champion Noam Dar vacated the Cup due to injury.

Luca Crucifino tried to prove his loyalty to “The Don” by getting him booked for the match, but he accidentally knocked out his boss with a spit bucket. Lorenzo scored the pin in Round 5.
