Eli Manning Tried To Tackle Tom Brady At Fanatics Fest
14 years. It has been 14 years since the last time the New York Giants and the New England Patriots faced off on a Super Bowl Sunday. It was the sequel to their ever-growing rivalry in the biggest game of the year, where Eli Manning and co. ended up taking a COMMANDING two-games to nothing lead against the greatest of all time.
It was a BIG BLEMISH for Brady and the dynasty that he helped create in New England. But just the other day, at Fanatics Fest in New York, it looks like this feud was dug up ONCE AGAIN! This time though…..it looks like Eli was the one to take the L against the seven-time champion.
Tom Brady came out to Cody Rhodes’ theme song, ripped an Eli Manning jersey… and then got jumped by Eli Manning at Fanatics Fest 😂

WHAT. A. MOMENT! Brady, who was making an iconic entrance to former WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ theme song, was EATING UP the lime light at the Javits Center. He walked out of the tunnel with a belt over his shoulder (as he should), with a heel-like swagger that could make ANY Brady-hater seethe in hatred. But that was not all; the great one would end up spitting on a New York Jets’ jersey (one of the Patriots’ biggest rivals), followed by ripping an Eli Manning jersey COMPLETELY IN HALF.
But once #12 made it to the end of the ramp…..that’s where things REALLY got interesting. Eli Manning, who was waiting in the back so that he could make the moment about him, ran to Brady and gave him one of the most “Manning-like” hugging tackles in the entire world. (If that makes sense?) It was one of those ‘dorky Dad’ kind of moments that you could just PICTURE a Manning doing.
I mean COME ON, what are we doing here? Eli….you need to at least WRAP UP on the play. You need to at least complete the leap onto Brady. i get that you played quarterback most of your life. But these are simple schoolyard traits that we all learned in the pee-wees.
It was the word “yikes” personified. But at least it wasn’t as bad as when HE made his entrance for Fanatics.

We should ACKNOWLEDGE him for what he did as a player. But for that entrance? OH BOY! NOT GREAT!
But in the end, as always…..what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
