Yankees Money line (-194)

Clarke Schmidt has been very good this season for the Yankees. They are taking on an Angels team that’s on a three game skid and has been very up and down all year. No better way to shake the performance in Boston off than with a win over the Halos.

Logan Gilbert 7+ Strikeouts (-115)

Welcome back to the show Logan Gilbert! What a treat he has in store for himself as he takes on the Red Sox and a lineup that will not feature Rafael Devers.

Gilbert has been sensational this season. He ranks in the 99th percentile in strikeout rate and has 44 strikeouts in 30 innings of work. It could be a challenge given he’s just getting back from injury, but a very prone Red Sox team that strikes out quite a bit.

Shohei Ohtani 3+ Strikeouts (+330)

The moment we have all been waiting for. The unicorn of baseball in Shohei Ohtani is stepping back onto the mound for the first time since 2023. The guy has a career 3.01 ERA and a 11.36 K/9. Very good stuff.

The Padres have one of the lower strikeout rates in the month of June, but also an offense who has not been as good as it can be. Jackson Merrill is also out with an injury. Ohtani it’ll be interesting to see how he pitches, being it’s been so long but I will ride this until the end.

Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (+120)

Aaron Judge had a series to forget when it stepped foot inside Fenway Park. He was 1-12 with a solo home run and nine strikeouts. Oof. The best hitter in baseball looked human for a second.

Now that he’s home, I expect Judge to make noise and get back on track with his elite hitting.
