Scottie Scheffler’s Kid Has A Better Swing Than Me
If there is one thing that I can promise you all, it’s that I am not a good golfer. I am a danger to myself and to others around me when I have a club in my hand. It’s a terrible thing to say, because I love the game and I want to get better at it. But until that day comes…you may not want to invite me on any outings any time soon.
Why do I say that, you may ask? Well…it’s because I saw this clip of Scottie Scheffler’s kid “taking cuts” on the driving range, and I realized that he is going to become a better golfer than me in a VERY short amount of time.

I…..I am ashamed of myself. I am ashamed to say that this child, Bennett Scheffler, will probably smoke me on the golf course within the next 5-10 years. It doesn’t matter how much I pay for my clubs, or how much training I put myself through; Scottie Scheffler’s child will CERTAINLY be taking my money on the links before he is even old enough to drive.
He is going to be a MENACE on the course. Why? Well it’s because he has the #1 golfer in the world, Scottie Scheffler, in his corner. Scottie, for those of you who are unaware, already has 16 career wins throughout his first 143 events played (as of writing this). Not only that; he already has a FedEx Cup on his resumé (2024), and is in the running to go back-to-back in 2025.
The man has been a magician ever since he joined the tour in 2020. His uncanny ability to “lock in” at tournaments, and make monumental runs in the most crucial moments, are just some of the things that have made him special in the PGA.
That, and…well…this!

I mean COME ON; as someone who has seen the original Space Jam more times than I can count, I would’ve guessed that Bugs Bunny was under 17 with a really strong magnet. It was just a beautiful display of precision and “touch,” to the point where the only phrase I could muster after watching it was; “how the HELL did he do that?”
He is an icon, and I have a feeling Bennett is going to be the same. Just like Tiger and Charlie Woods playing together at the PNC Championship, I have a feeling that the Schefflers will be doing the same in the future. Will they have the same success as the Woods family? Who knows!
But I know one thing is for certain…I’m going to start hitting the links a lot more often. I’m about to be passed up by a toddler!
