WWE Smackdown: Watch Out, It’s Bray Wyatt’s Birthday

The Street Profits defended the WWE tag team title last night in the main event of Smackdown in Savannah, Ga. Nathan Frazier & Axiom were the challengers.

Late in the match, #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns came to the ring. Then the lights went out. Was it a tribute to Sabu?

No, it was a tribute to Bray Wyatt, as the Wyatt Sicks faction returned after disappearing for months.

Bo “Uncle Howdy” Dallas, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross attacked all four teams.

They celebrated with a birthday cake for Bray, who would have turned 38 this week.

MONEY IN THE BANK

Giulia won her first match on the Smackdown roster. She qualified for Money in the Bank by defeating Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat match.

On the men’s side, LA Knight qualified for MITB with a win over Shinsuke Nakamura and Aleister Black.

TAG TEAM TURMOIL

Tomasso Ciampa of #DIY defeated Chris Sabin of the Machine Guns in a singles match before the teams joined the fracas in the main event.

Candice LeRae helped Ciampa win, as she is married to Johnny Gargano of #DIY.

B-Fab & Michin scored an upset win over The Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre & Piper Niven).

Jacob Fatu teamed with JC Mateo to beat Jimmy Uso & Rey Fenix.

GET READY FOR LUCHA

Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel & Berto) announced that they would compete at the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide show before Money in the Bank on June 7.

Escobar’s team will face the AAA trio of Psycho Clown, Pagano & El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. The event will air on YouTube.

R-Truth talked about tonight’s match against his “childhood hero,” John Cena, on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Of course, Truth is older than Cena.
