Wings Announce Game Against Chicago Sky Is Sold Out
The Dallas Wings have announced that their next home game against the Chicago Sky on May 31st has been sold out.
Next Saturday night’s contest marks the Wings’ second sellout of the season after 7,000 fans packed the College Park Center on May 16th to watch Dallas take on the Minnesota Lynx in their season opener.
Fans unable to attend the showdown between the Wings and Sky can catch all the action on KFAA channel 29 throughout the state of Texas and on WNBA League Pass outside of the Wings market.
Saturday will mark Sky star Angel Reese returning to Arlington, where she made her WNBA debut last season.
It will also be the first time that Reese will go up against Wings’ number one overall pick Paige Bueckers.
Bueckers has improved significantly in each of the Wings’ first three games of the season, with her best of the three coming this week in her home state of Minnesota, where she scored 12 points and added a rebound and ten assists to go with it.
Overall on the season, Bueckers is averaging 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in the very short sample size.
Dallas has yet to pick up their first win of the season as they currently sit at 0-3 after dropping close contest to the Storm and Lynx this week.
Nonetheless, the pretty much entirely new Wings team seems to be building some chemistry and momentum, which, hopefully for first-year head coach Chris Koclanes, will lead to a nice run of wins.
