3 Best Fits for Rutgers SF Ace Bailey in 2025 NBA Draft

Ace Bailey has quickly turned into one of the most interesting prospects in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Bailey, who spent one year at Rutgers, has been viewed as one of the top three prospects in the draft but has the potential to fall down boards after his performance at the combine.

Bailey is an interesting case because of his overall size and skillset. While he remains a projected top pick, he can fall anywhere from three to around nine or No. 10.

Below, take a look at three teams where Bailey would fit in right away.

3. Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are in need of talent anyway they can get it. Brooklyn missed out on the top pick in the draft and the chance to land Cooper Flagg. Brooklyn even missed out on the consolation prize of Dylan Harper. Now, the Nets will have to take what they can at No. 8. If Bailey is there, it would be a major win for the Nets.

2. Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets have struggled to find the right pieces to find success in recent years. LaMelo Ball is in place and this is a good place to start for the future. The only hesitancy surrounding Bailey is that Brandon Miller is an extremely similar player. That could also work in the favor of Charlotte. This trio could be what the Hornets need to turn things around sooner rather than later.

1. Philadelphia 76ers

It was a disastrous season for the 76ers and there has to be some changes made to the roster. Whether that is another blockbuster move in attempts to cut the line, which never works, or building through the draft, Philadelphia is going to go through some changes. Bailey would be the perfect fit for the future with the likes of Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain moving forward.
