The Philadelphia 76ers got to keep their pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

There was a chance that the pick would be lost if it landed outside of the top five but the Sixers ended up with the No. 3 overall selection in the draft. After a wasted season in Philadelphia, the front office should be interested in adding youth.

The addition of Paul George did not work as he spent most of his time on the injured list. The team has young talent such as Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain that could lead the next wave.

3. Dylan Harper, Rutgers

Dylan Harper grew up in New Jersey and stayed home to attend Rutgers. There is a chance that he does not have far to go at the next level. Harper landing in Philly would be the best-case scenario for the Sixers but he lands third on this list because it seems unlikely at this point that he makes it past No. 2. Harper provides shot-creating abilities and versatility at 6-foot-6 that will translate over to the next level.

2. VJ Edgecombe, Baylor

Edgecombe has become one of the darlings of the draft over the mock-draft process. That will only continue as the point guard comes off an incredible rookie year at Baylor. Edgecombe is a two-way star that can score at one end and lock down the perimeter on the other. At 6-foot-5, Edgecombe brings good size and has the overall burst and speed to project as an elite point guard in the NBA.

1. Ace Bailey, Rutgers

Philadelphia is in position to draft one of the two studs coming out of Rutgers this offseason. Ace Bailey will be the popular choice in many mock drafts moving forward. He averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds during his freshman year. Bailey is extremely athletic with a slim build that provides great length. He is a difficult-shot-maker from the midrange and along the perimeter. If Bailey is there at No. 3, it might be too good to pass on.
