Garrett Crochet 6+/Cole Ragans 6+ (-125)

This is a true battle of the aces in tonight’s matchup and the best pitching matchup of the day. Both of these pitchers are strikeout phenoms and will feast on opposing offenses.

Cole Ragans has 58 strikeouts and is averaging 14.38 K/9. He’s taking on a team that had Michael Lorenzen put up seven strikeouts. Not ideal if you are the Red Sox and with Ragans on deck.

Crochet is averaging 10.29 K/9 and has 56 strikeouts. Getting six is quite doable, especially the way Hunter Dobbins pitched last night. The Royals bats are heating up, but Crochet getting six is ideal.

Jack Flaherty 5+/Jacob deGrom 5+ (-102)

Welp, the Texas Rangers offense is not great. Tarik Skubal had one of the best outings we’ve seen all season long. Flaherty getting five strikeouts is super doable.

deGrom has been good for the Rangers. He’s reached this mark three times over the course of his starts this season. It will be a challenge with this Tigers offense, but it is definitely a pick I’m willing to gamble on.
