New-Look Tennessee Titans Offense With The Addition Of Cam Ward
The Tennessee Titans drafted what they hope will be their next franchise quarterback.
After experimenting under center for years, the Titans were given the No. 1 pick in the draft and used it on Miami QB Cam Ward.
Ward was one of the top quarterbacks in college football last season, showing off his insane play-making ability every week. Tennessee hopes that this will transfer over to the next level as he brings all the intangibles to the field.
There will be plenty of expectations for the top pick in the draft as he prepares to take the field this fall. How will Ward be viewed as a rookie and what are fair expectations for the Titans?

What Are The Expectations?
The Tennessee Titans went from a consistent playoff team in the AFC to the top pick in the draft.
The Mike Vrabel era of complete and Brian Callahan is tasked with rebuilding this team. After one disastrous season, Callahan got the chance to draft his quarterback and this likely bought him more time on the sideline. Will Levis did not pan out as an experimental player and now Ward will step into the starting role.
The expectations are for Ward to become the dynamic play maker that he was in Miami. Ward showed an ability to extend plays and push the ball down the field with his arm strength. The Titans recently signed Tyler Lockett to join Calvin Ridley, giving a young quarterback veteran options on the outside.
Realistically, the expectations are tempered. It is unlikely that Ward will come in and have the impact that Jayden Daniels did for the Washington Commanders. The franchise is looking for Ward to show promise as he takes over as the future face of the team.
