2025 NFL Draft: Top Suitors For Penn State TE Tyler Warren

Tyler Warren of Penn State put together one of the best seasons from a tight end that we have seen in recent memory.

Warren caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns. He got off to a quick start but really burst onto the scene when he caught 17 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown in an overtime victory against USC in October.

Warren will enter the 2025 NFL Draft as the top-rated tight end on the board. He has been pegged as high as the Top 10 and as low as late in the first round. There are many teams that could be in on an elite tight end this year.

Below, check out three teams that could choose Warren in this year’s NFL Draft.

3. Chicago Bears

It has been a busy offseason for the Chicago Bears. It began when Ben Johnson was hired as the next head coach. The offensive line has been much improved in front of Caleb Williams and a new weapon could also be on the way. At No. 10, Warren could be in play. If this is the case, it will be interesting to see if the Bears take calls on a potential trade.

2. New York Jets

The New York Jets have been the early pick to draft Warren with the seventh-overall pick. The Jets were linked to Georgia tight end Brock Bowers last year but opted to take Olu Fashanu to shore up the offensive line. After seeing what Bowers was able to accomplish as a rookie, the Jets could decide to cash in on their second chance. Warren would join the Jets and give new quarterback Justin Fields a new weapon within the offense. At the point, the Jets offense could use another playmaker.

1. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts seem like the team that is most aggressive in wanting Warren this year. There are few tight ends that have been coveted like Warren and Indy wants to make sure that they do not miss. The question is, will he be available at No. 14? There are many teams ahead of the Colts that have been linked to Warren as well. A trade could be on the table and it would be interesting to see if they actually move up for a tight end.
